- A broad range of optional units – qualification can be tailored to your organisation’s learning and development needs.
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN
Throughout your Apprenticeship you’ll benefit from both classroom and on-the-job teaching – and get paid to train. Many Food & Drink Team Leaders are paid a premium for their skills, so it’s likely you’ll earn more as you progress through your career.
YOUR STUDIES
Your programme is typically delivered over 12-18 months. It will develop you as an all-round Team Leader within a food business environment. You’ll learn about the standards and methods employed in the food industry, and will develop the ability to operate in a dynamic sector – but with a thorough understanding of the wider food supply chain. From setting up to shutting down, you’ll always be looking to optimise production performance. Your skills will also be honed as part of your development.
End Point Assessment
All of our apprentices will undertake an independent end-point assessment. This provides an assessment of the knowledge, skills and behaviours that have been learnt throughout the apprenticeship. The purpose of the end point assessment will provide and make sure the apprentice meets the required standard set by employers. The End Point Assessment is taken by apprentices at the very end of the training when their employer and their training provider are satisfied that they can achieve the requirements. End-point-assessments are graded. The certificate is only awarded after end-point assessment is successful. Those conducting the end-point assessment are administered by an assessor from an approved, independently registered End-point Assessment Organisation.
