The IT Apprentice will develop a comprehensive understanding of IT operations by rotating through various functions within the IT department. The apprentice will gain practical experience and build knowledge aligned with the Level 6 Digital Solutions and Technology degree and the Skills for the Information Age (SFIA) 8 framework, including, but not limited to, technical support, cyber security, and IT project management.

You will initially work Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm, however in future there will be an element of shift working. Days and shifts are to be confirmed but may require an element of evening and weekend working depending on which team you join.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Participate actively in all apprenticeship activities and complete coursework.

Qualifications
- 3 A Levels (Or Level 3 qualification) including IT, Maths, or a related field.
- GCSE or equivalent in English + three others (Grade 9 – 4 or A*- C) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths with minimum of (Grade C or a level 5) essential
- Passion for technology and a commitment to personal and professional development.
- Age requirement is 18+
Things to consider
The work environment can be cold and noisy (for which PPE will be provided) and will entail being inside for long periods of time. However, it is also a very positive place to work, and the experience gained will be invaluable for the future.
