Here at Cranswick we offer a dynamic and diverse apprenticeship experience which will allow you to gain valuable experience and explore various aspects of financial operations whilst achieving an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting through award winning Financial training provider Kaplan.

  • 18 month apprenticeship which will see the completion of AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

  • Structured rotations around the Finance Department, giving the successful candidate exposure to the entire Finance process

  • Participate in various Finance projects and tasks as required whilst in your departmental rotations

  • Collaborate with team members to support financial planning and decision-making

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analysis.

  • Learn to navigate financial systems and tools effectively.

  • Support to streamline financial processes and enhance controls

Cranswick is one of the UK’s most sustainable food producers. We produce and supply premium food to high-profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers. The successful candidate will join the Finance team at our largest UK manufacturing site in Preston (HU12 8TB), one of the largest food manufacturing facilities in Europe and an industry-leading in innovation. The site is currently undergoing expansion with significant CAPEX committed to the sites development making this an even more exciting time to join our team.

What do you need?

  • A-level grades of (B,C,C) or equivalent (Predicted Grades taken in to account for pre-exam candidates)
  • A passionate individual who is keen to pursue a career within the financial function of a large business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with an eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
