What does a Relief team leader do?

As part of the management team I am responsible for the supervision, training and general help to the team and to cover holidays ect. Also to stand in for the manager in his absence.

How did you end up in this job?

25 years ago, I applied for a job at Pork Farms as a van sales rep. Following a take over by Kerry Foods, I continued in my roll until I was promoted to supervisor. After a short while I was promoted to Depot Manager. When Kerry Van Sales folded, I applied for a job with Ginsters (FFFN) as a sales rep and got the job. After 2 years in this roll I was promoted to my current roll.

£18000 approx.

Trust yourself and your abilities. Don't be afraid to take on a new challenge.
