What does a Sustainability Graduate do?

My role varies every day but includes researching within topics such as Biodiversity, Soil, Water, Waste and Climate to drive progress toward sustainability in these areas, ESG reporting, staying up to date on relevant policies and regulations and working on projects within the business.

After you qualified, did it take long to find a job?

No, I found a job quickly once I widened my focus to include industries I hadn’t thought of before, like the food industry.

How did you end up in this job?

I have always been interested in sustainability and chose to study environmental sustainability at university. During my degree, I became more interested in the food industry and nutrition, and so I focused my dissertation on the relationship between sustainability and nutrition in the context of dairy. This led me to look for roles in sustainability in the food industry, and I was accepted for my role at Dunbia!

I get to learn about new and interesting topics all the time.
