My job encompasses multiple departments across the business, including Planning, Commercial, Logistics, Operational Excellence, Finance, NPD, Production and Materials. The experience gained from my apprenticeship is highly varied, allowing me to gain multiple transferrable skills and develop my ability to engage with stakeholders across the board.
- What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing this career? Gain as much work experience as possible, it will allow you to understand what you do and don’t like, and what style of working is best for you.
- What’s the best thing about your job? Liaising with multiple different departments and working cross-functionally. I also find experiencing the inside world of the food industry fascinating.
