Meg Ford — Supply Chain and Customer Service Graduate

Name: Meg Ford
Job title: Supply Chain and Customer Service Graduate
Employer: Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP)
Qualification: BSc Chemistry
Salary Range: £30,000
  • How did you end up in this job?

Towards completion of my degree I decided that I did not want to work in the chemical research industry however, I wanted to use the transferable skills I developed throughout my education and have a practical element to the job. Working in supply chain requires teamwork, communication, data analysis, presenting and critical thinking skills as well as working in a ‘hands on’ way.

  • What’s the best thing about your job?

The opportunity to experience and learn about a variety of different aspects of supply chain and the company as a whole. Working with a variety of people and forming a good network for career development.

  • What was your starting salary?

30,000

  • How long have you been doing your job?

3 months

  • Where do you see yourself in five years time?

I hope to be in a leadership role in the company after completing the graduate program at CCEP. At the moment, I think that I would like to go into sustainability but I would also like to have a part in EDI.

  • If you could give your 16 year old self some career advice, what would it be?

Don’t worry that you don’t know what you want to do as a career yet just keep and open mind and believe in yourself!
