Give a description of a day in the life of a Recruitment Co-Ordinator
Screening CV’s, Speaking to candidates, Conducting Interviews, Liaising with Management on requirements, Processing Applications through iCIMS, Attending KPI Meetings, Onboarding & Inductions.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing this career?
Absolutely do it, never ever a dull moment and no day is ever the same.
How long have you been doing your job?
I have been doing recruitment for over three years now. I spent two and a half years in agency recruitment, and I have been in Dunbia for 7 months now – my first job in this industry.
What’s the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is that again no two days are ever the same. I also really enjoy getting to know the employees from that first interaction.
If you had the chance to do it all over again, what would you do the same / differently?
I would change nothing. I genuinely really enjoy my job, this industry and the path I took to get here.
If you could give your 16-year-old self some career advice, what would it be?
Stay resilient, it will be extremely beneficial both in work and outside work.
