Describe your job in 20-25 words.

Managing a team of people to produce mince and dice every day to fulfil the customers’ orders sent by the commercial teams.

After you qualified, did it take long to find a job?

I applied for this job whilst I was still at university in November 2024 of my final year, so I had my job lined up for when I finished the following June 2025.

What’s the best thing about your job?

Every day is different. Everyday there is new challenges to deal with. This has definitely encouraged me to be more independent at problem solving and trying to overcome problems myself.  

How long have you been doing your job?

I have been on the operations graduate scheme since June 2025 and moved over to the mince and dice team from February 2026. This is a new and exciting challenge.

If you could give your 16-year-old self some career advice, what would it be?

Don’t think you are not good enough for any job, you are as good as you make yourself and will be as successful as you try to make yourself. If there’s a job you like the sound of apply for it if you are unsuccessful, see it as a learning opportunity and to have had interview experience rather than a negative that you haven’t got the job.
