What does a Multi Skilled Engineer Apprentice do?

We are responsible for the maintenance, repair and general upkeep of the machinery required to make Supernoodles.

Describe your job in 20-25 words.

I am currently shadowing experienced engineers to gain the relevant knowledge to be able to carry out the role of a multiskilled Engineer.

Give a description of a day in the life of a Multi Skilled Engineer Apprentice.

If there are any breakdowns then I will typically be shadowing an engineer to help solve these, gaining relevant experience along the way, if the lines are running well then I will typically be doing wider project work, which can include; electrical installations, general building upkeep and minor fabrication tasks.

How did you end up in this job?

Ever since I was at school I had an interest in engineering so this felt like a suitable career path.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of pursuing this career?

If they had a genuine interest in engineering, then it is a very rewarding career.
