What does a Livestock Procurement Graduate do?

My job involves going round to various farms, talking to farmers, buying cattle and carrying out audits.

After you qualified, did it take long to find a job?

I got the job whilst I was still studying. Career fairs are a very good way to see what jobs/ apprenticeships  are available and talk to people in different industries.

What's the best thing about your job?

Being out in the countryside everyday in differnet areas talking to different people. 

If you could give your 16 year old self some career advice, what would it be?

A good balance between varied work experience, education and leisure is key to ensuring your happy. Theres no point in working and studying all the time if your going to burn out.
