Describe my role:

• As the recruiter for Preston site - I am responsible for all the recruitment. I advertise the roles, screen the applicants and arrange interviews. i then get feedback and ensure applicants have a response in a good timescale. I arrange the induction and look after the new starter whilst they settle within the business. 

The best thing about my job:

• What I love about my job is finding someone for a role and giving them a opportunity. Also I take great pride in  seeing people I have introduced to the business develop and enhance there career with the business. I feel very proud and have some great sucess stories.

How long have I been doing my job?

• ​I started in HR in 2002 as a HR Administrator - I then studied to enhance my career within HR and have also Managed HR for a  large factory.

My first paycheck:

• ​With my first paycheck I put down a deposit on a little ford fiesta - that was 30 years ago !!!

Where do I see myself in 5 years:

• In 5 years time I would like to be doing different recruitment method to encourage people to work for Dunbia - such as open days and working more on apprenticeships. I will also like to be focusing on apprenticeships to bring new skills to the business for our sucession plan :)
