• What’s the best thing about your job?

The best thing about working in HR is the diversity of the job. Not one day is the same which makes it exciting and enjoyable. Also being able to work with and meet so many different people from all over the world is a highlight of my job.

• How long have you been doing your job?

Coming up to 9 months, which has flown by!

• Where do you see yourself in five years time?

The great thing about ABP is their passion for internal growth, meaning that there is so much opportunity for me to work my way up. In five years’ time I’d love to see myself possibly in a management position. I have seen graduates from previous years already being in management roles which is a huge motivator.

• If you could give your 16 year old self some career advice, what would it be?

I left school a year early and so many people looked down on this and told me it was the wrong thing to do. If I could go back I would tell my 16 year old self to trust what I was doing and that everything was going to work out. I'd also say not to stress too much, there is always so much stress put on young people about where they want to go career wise – there is plenty time to navigate where your going to go!

• Did you buy something special with your first pay cheque?

I was able to buy myself a car after driving my mums old car for 3 years, this was a very proud moment.
