- What does a CMDA do?
Rotate functions every nine months between, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development, then specialise in a function in the final year, the course lasts 4 years.
- How did you end up in this job?
I applied through my school, completed the assessment centres and interview processes, and managed to get the right A-level grades to join the scheme.
- What’s the best thing about your job?
The people! Coming from sixth form into a full-time job and degree was difficult but the people and culture at Nestle made the transition so much easier and smoother the level of support is amazing.
- Has your salary changed since then – if not do you see salary progression?
Yes, we get a yearly salary increase whilst on the scheme.
- If you could give your 16-year-old self some career advice, what would it be?
Keep working hard, it pays off and always keep your options open you never know where an opportunity will take you!
