What's the Job?

This new role represents an excellent opportunity to be part of a major Procurement transformation programme including adoption of new digital ways of working. The role sits in the recently created Centre of Excellence (COE) team, which is responsible for overall governance, analytics, technology roadmap and supplier and contract management. It forms a key part in supporting the roll out of the Procurement transformation programme (Project Stride) which is implementing best in class processes, technologies and will soon commence a phased transition to a new operating model. This includes the implementation of a Buying Support Desk (a team of 2) and will be the major remit of this role.

 

The successful candidate will develop an awareness of leading Procurement processes and supporting technologies in a fast-paced consumer products environment and experience a wide-range of operating styles in a large plc Business. Skills development in using SAP/Ariba can be expected.
