What's the Job?

To provide Admin support to HR team and line managers, whilst gaining confidence in communication and clerical skills, alongside gaining knowledge of working within the food manufacturing sector.

 

This entry level role will have the following responsibilities assigned as part of the Kickstart placement:

 

Administration of systems such as MYHR, SAP, LMS, ensuring that the systems are kept up to date and the records are accurate, including holiday records.

 

Responding to email enquiries from colleagues as and when required.

 

Understanding / interpreting data to help with report writing and the provision of statistical information such as absence, hours, attendance, etc.

 

Communication –

Ensuring that communication across site is relevant and fresh, whilst maintaining notice boards.

Supporting the site Comms Champion with local stories and posting on the site's intranet page.  This involves the preparation of text and obtaining good quality photos/ images to bring the feature to life.

 

Office activities – such as stationery ordering, filing both electronically and paper based, incoming and outgoing mail.

 

 

Throughout the placement the individual will be introduced to the Microsoft office365 suite of online tools, HR and Training systems and be provided with training to support their building of skills on these systems.

 

Whilst in place and carrying out the responsibilities outlined above the individual will develop, self-confidence, communication skills both written and verbal, attention to detail (accuracy), relationship building and time management.
