An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Agriculture department for an Agricultural Planner to join our team. You will have a pivotal role within the team to optimise the time and cost efficiency of live bird collection and work closely with management team to collate data related to farm performance.
Purpose of the role
Working closely with our Demand & Factory Planners to match raw material supply with forecast demand, alongside preparing the agricultural intake plans taking account of both agricultural & processing constraints.
As our Agricultural Planner, you will create and amend daily, weekly and future plans based on actual and expected farm performances, order patterns and factory operating efficiencies.
What we are looking for
You will ideally have some experience in a planning role, with an understanding of supply chain principles and a clear interest in the food industry. Alongside our planning team, you'll be analysing data to identify trends, drawing conclusions and making recommendations. You will therefore need to be comfortable working with data, have strong numeracy and analytical skills, with strong numeracy and analytical skills as you will be working with data.
With a practical approach to problem solving, you will be commercially focused, and understand the impact of actions on the bottom line. Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, as well as an effective communicator. Able to work well both as part of a team and individually, you will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
