This Bakkavor Engineering Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity for graduates passionate about infrastructure and utilities engineering. This program is designed to provide practical experience in delivering innovative solutions across our U.K. sites, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction in infrastructure and utilities operations.
You’ll report to the U.K. Infrastructure & Utilities Manager, gaining exposure to highimpact projects and decision-making processes. With a strong focus on development, hard work, and a clear progression path, you should aspire to be in a Senior Engineering Management role within 5-7 years of starting the programme.

We are seeking applicants with a strong motivation to build a career in Food Manufacturing, aiming for a future role as an Engineering Manager. You should have a curious mindset and a drive to challenge conventional practices, along with flexibility and adaptability. To be eligible for the Engineering Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
• Degree: Achieved or expected to achieve at least a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant Engineering discipline: Electrical, Process & Thermal or Mechanical
• Experience: At least three months of relevant work experience. Safety, health & environmental awareness, knowledge of IT systems, good communication techniques plus an understanding of planning/generating reports would all be preferable.
• Work Eligibility: Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years from September 2025
• Motivation: A clear commitment to advancing your career in the food industry.
• Flexibility: Willingness to complete three 12-month placements at different locations across the UK (we will consider your preferences).
