This is a level 3 course which is designed to support apprentices and other personnel in the engineering manufacture or welding/fabrication industries. It is a level 3 qualification which may lead on to a full level 3 Diploma. The course develops essential skills and knowledge applicable to the engineering manufacture and welding/fabrication. It also offers optional mathematics, which is required if progression on to a full Diploma is a target.View more
This course offers a natural progression from BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering qualifications. It focuses on higher level skills and analysis which are required for professional engineers. A major component of the course is the Project module in which students are engaged on a personal engineering project of commercial significance.
